ABOUT JES

I entered the world of artistic hairstyling and makeup design at the age of 19, after dropping out of high school in March of my senior year. I finally decided that I was tired of working crappy jobs that offered zero artistic or creative freedom. I craved a career in which I could lift people up while still creating the life I desired. I got my poop in a group and finished beauty school with several awards and accolades. I have now been empowering women and using my voice as an intersectional feminist behind the chair for 10 years.

My previous experience as a theatrical technician and performer led me into the world of character design, theatrical styling, film styling, and editorial photo shoots. I love to compete locally and nationally in hairstyling and makeup competitions, as well as create looks for photo shoots with clients (boudoir and pin up are my favorite!). After returning to Colorado from Las Vegas, I realized my true passion was empowering people. As a survivor of sexual assault and first-hand witness to domestic violence, it was important to me that I give back to my sisterhood. I completed the Pro Beauty Association's Cut It Out Program in 2015 to help advocate for other survivors and help end the cycle of abuse and violence.

My services are always premium, meaning you get the best every time with no added fees. I offer gender-neutral pricing and gladly welcome transgender, non-binary, and gender-fluid people in my chair. I believe in setting you up for success with your new look, and take the time to inform you about proper home  care and styling techniques. It is important to me that you love your look so I encourage you to ask questions and give honest feedback.​
